How Do We Know If…
One of the most significant questions people ask is, have we ever found life on other planets? What would it…
My name is Morgan Francis, and you are now at Crest of the Stars! This is my little project that I work on in between camping out under the Mojave night sky and getting lost in Parisian flea markets. With this blog, I aspire for a harmonious weave between the fun of science and the adventure of travel. The greatest scientists of history – Darwin, Galileo, Da Vinci, and others – were all explorers in their own right. People often picture sterile labs and plain white coats when they think of science, which is exactly the perception I hope to change. Science can be fun, it can be a bit dirty, a bit adventurous, and it can take you to so many new corners of the world.
At Crest of the Stars I write, edit, and curate all the precious nuggets of information, hypotheses, and advice I can find – creating content for curious minds that want to take their first step and boldly go where no one has gone before. The quest for knowledge is never-ending, which means I’m going to keep on learning and sharing, so that you can keep on reading.
Thinking about taking a vacation? Taking a gap year to backpack for a month? If you don’t know where to start, or if you want to try something new and are hunting for information, then you’ve come to the right place. You can find posts here ranging from seasonal travelling to hidden troves to things to do in an unknown city!
For those of you that want a quick look at all the pieces available on Crest of the Stars, this is your destination.
Science, exploration, and Art are all fruits of the same Tree of Curiosity.
My goal at Crest is to build a harmonious flow between the three, with blogs and articles that feed into each other, all working toward the goal of educating people on the fulfilment these fruits bring. Here, you can check out some of my thoughts and ideas on the subjects!
